Harlem Stride

Shen Jinzhen plays piano at the party in episode 2. The piece in the soundtrack is Harlem Stride by Benedict Bridgen. This was released in 2021, and is written in the style of mid-1920s "stride" piano, an extension of Ragtime by way of Kansas City Jazz.

Flyaway Flapper

In the sequence where Wei Ruolai is becoming increasingly more drunk in episode 3, the soundtrack is playing Flyaway Flapper by composer and trombone player Daniel Barda, from the album 《Swing Days》, released in 2012.

Jinzhen plays The Lacrimosa from Mozart's requiem in D, K 626, in a piano transcription, for WRL after the meal.
