War of Faith
Summary
《War of Faith》is a 2024 Chinese Drama first broadcast on CCTV8 with a simultaneous streaming release on iQIYI.
In 1930s Shanghai, Wei Ruolai, an employee at the Kuomintang Central Bank, rises through the ranks due to his exceptional abilities, and the support and guidance of senior advisor Shen Tunan. However, as he confronts the corruption within the Kuomintang's financial realm, his path diverges from Shen Tunan's. Meanwhile, Tunan's beloved sister Shen Jinzhen is leading a triple life as fashionable socialite, chief engineer at the government munitions factory and skilled assassin for the communist underground.
