Summary
LQS infiltrates Jiangxi soviet, using Song Shoutian, and makes trouble for WRL and the bank. After a run of attacks undermines public trust in the bank, the bank holds a public exhibition to regain trust. When Song Shoutian's loyalties come under question, Biaozi and LQS kill him. SJZ dies, along with many others, in a bomb blast. Biaozi is killed while he and the rest of LQS's men try and flee. SJZ's funeral, and a letter from WRL to STN. The first agreement to sell the tungsten ore and tungsten wire is made. SCS and xiao Yu'er sail away for England. WRL and Niu Chunmiao officially join the communist party. STN is sent by Nanjing to stop the Tungsten trade, the proceeds of which were instrumental in the communist's war efforts. At the same time, LQS is sent to police STN.
